If you do then you could be the person we are looking for to help us recruit police officers. 

 

New Zealand Police works collaboratively with iwi and communities, to make New Zealanders be safe and feel safe. With over 12,000 staff, we provide policing services 24 hours a day, every day. We operate by land, sea and air, manage over 860,000 emergency calls a year and are always actively preventing crime and crashes.

 

To be able to provide a high level of service to all New Zealanders, it is important that we recruit the right people for the job.  To assist us in this goal, we are looking for an Events Coordinator who is passionate about promotional/marketing events to join our new recruitment events team based in Wellington.    

 

You will be part of a team who will be responsible for the attraction of potential recruits through a range of career specific events around the country.  Career-related event management experience is preferred and the ability to work under pressure is a given.  You will have previous experience with social media and always be looking for new ways to engage with people.  This position will require you to travel throughout New Zealand.

 

This position is looking to attract those with experience in events coordination and facilitation or someone looking to gain experience in this field.  A background in Recruitment or HR would be desirable but not essential.
