Here is an opportunity to join the Ministry of Social Development as a Procurement Analystbased in Wellington. Reporting through to the Manager Business Improvement and Support, you will strive for excellence and innovation in everything you do.

The core purpose of this role is to provide procurement analysis, reporting  and support to Ministry Managers for their contracts and the Procurement Practice team.  Your focus is on using process improvements, supplier information and MSD procurement and financial information.. You will also assist with administration and operation of the Ministry's Procurement Board .


We are seeking someone who has the ability to analyse and aggregate procurement data, develop appropriate reporting solutions and who is aware of government procurement and relevant procurement processes. Ideally you will also have a commercial flavour to your experience.
