Site Project Coordinator - Fixed Term/Secondment until end Oct 2019

 

 Full time -Wellington

  • Are you an experienced Project Co-ordinator looking to expand your skills and work on an exciting Government project?

 

The Future State Physical Security Environment team are looking for a Site Project Coordinator who will be responsible for providing high quality administrative support to the Project Manager, project office and teams which may include responsibility for managing the logistics of external goods and services for individual projects as well as supporting project management activities.

 

The project has been established to manage the process of designing, programming and implementing an enhanced physical interior security design in our front line service delivery sites.

 

To be considered for this position you will have:

 

  • Experience in supporting governance bodies
  • Experience in a project environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft software, in particular EXCEL, Visio and MS Project
  • Good system skills in both mainframe and PC based environment
  • Knowledge of the government policies on office accommodation.
  • Excellent planning skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and pragmatic attitude
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
  • Strong partnership builder
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Sound judgement skills
  • Ability to maintain performance under pressure
  • Strong sense of probity
