Regional Leadership Opportunity

Work Services Manager – East Coast Region
Permanent, Full Time


We are looking for an enthusiastic people leader to become a member of the East Coast Region Management team at Work and Income.  You will be an innovative and inspirational leader at the helm of our Regional Work Services team.


As a Work Services Manager, you will be leading a team of Work Brokers and Employment Coordinators who work with employers to grow and develop employment opportunities in the local labour market for our clients.

As a Sales and Marketing team, the Work Services team take a sales pipeline approach to prospect and qualify and validate their leads – experience and knowledge of this approach would be an advantage.


Day to Day duties will include:

  • Leadership and team performance
  • Remote management of team across the East Coast Regional Service Centres
  • Maintain and build on team culture
  • Ensure products and services are delivered accurately, efficiently and according to policy and business standards
  • Relationship Management
  • Actively participate in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of Regional plans with support the strategic direction
  • Effective management of Crown Expenditure budget, ensuring that the financial targets are achieved
