The National Contact Centre services the entire country, providing 24/7 service to children and families. From initial contact, the Contact Centre is involved in each aspect of completing the child's journey through our multiple services. Within this process, full attention is paid to the accuracy of client records, whilst information security procedures are strictly adhered to.


We're looking for an experienced administrator to join us to improve the wellbeing of children and families across New Zealand. You will work with social workers to fulfil our values, in a fast paced environment where you will be given progression and development at each step, supported by our SWRA and practice focused team.  As a Social Work Resource Assistant you will support a large team of social workers by gathering, recording and entering data into our systems as well as matching data. A high level of accuracy and data integrity is a must.  


You will be required to work 40 hours per week across a variety of shift times (Mon-Sun).


You will need to be flexible to provide cover when required to meet operational demand.

What you need to offer:

  • Confident communication, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in administration or a contact centre role
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with people of varying levels
  • Effective organisational, planning and time management skills
  • A proactive and self-motivated personality
  • Be a fast Learner with a can do, positive attitude
  • Be able to set an example for the organisation in regards to the values we have
  • Professionalism, empathy and cultural awareness
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and all Microsoft packages
  • The ability to build relationships across the organisation
  • Typing speed of 40+ words per minute


On top of this, you'll have strong organisational skills, good attention to detail, and you'll draw on your problem solving ability to find solutions to challenges within tight deadlines.
