We are committed to putting children and young people at the heart of everything we do and say.  If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of at-risk young people, join our supportive team who are fully committed to achieving positive outcomes for young people, whanau and the community.

We operate a secure 24/7 facility, working with young offenders aged 13-17 who are on remand or sentenced via Youth Court. Our ultimate goal is to help every tamaiti we work with to realise their potentiall.

We help tamariki transition into education, training, or employment, and to a safe and stable living arrangement when they leave our care. Residential Workers can and do make a significant difference in the lives of at-risk tamariki. They provide day-to-day role-modelling, mentoring, support, and coordinated activities for the rangatahi in our care.

Casual employment is a great option for those who are interested in starting out in a career working with youth. This is a casual role so could be carried out while studying, or in conjunction with other part-time work.

Please note that all successful appointees must be available for a THREE week full-time induction programme starting 18th March covering Monday-Friday before starting shifts as a Casual.

Shifts typically cover Monday to Friday but are subject to alternative days & times

Relevant experience working with at-risk children or youth or a qualification in youth work, sport and recreation, education, health, or psychology is preferred but not essential. Applicants with relevant and transferrable life skills are also encouraged to apply.
