Community Services Card and SuperGold Card team is a specialist unit that forms part of the Centralised Services International, Cards, Veteran's and Senior business area.  We are responsible for processing all clients applications and for the administration of the cards.  A Community Services Card is available to low or middle income earners to enable them and their family to access subsidised health services.  The SuperGold card is a discount and concession card for all New Zealanders aged 65 and over, and those who would otherwise qualify for New Zealand Superannuation or Veteran's Pension.


The Customer Service Officer (CSO) will be responsible for providing a fast and accurate service to our clients.  In particular, the Customer Service Officer is responsible for assessing the needs of clients and informing them of the serviced provided.  Additionally, this position entails the processing of all application, and the maintenance of client records.


We are looking for people who have excellent client service skills, can problem solve complex client situations, excellent time management, organisational skills, and a high level of both written and verbal communication skills.  We want you to be a target oriented, have initiative; self-manage, work well under pressure and adhere to timeframes.  Most importantly you will need to adapt and accept change as a positive challenge, while keeping your sense of humour.
