Senior Test Analyst (Automation)


The Ministry of Social Development has one of the largest Information Technology Groups in the country. The IT Testing Services Team works in coordination with other IT departments and is primarily responsible for providing independent application and product testing.

 

About the role:
We are seeking energetic highly motivated experienced Senior Test Analyst who is keen to grow your test career and skillset to join our team. This is your chance to utilise your well demonstrated testing skills in a large and complex environment.

 

An overview of your responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and manage planning of the system and/or acceptance tests, including software security testing,
  • Provide high quality, expert advice on any aspect of test planning and execution
  • Define test strategy across projects
  • Manage all test processes, including; test plans, resources, costs, timescales and deliverables
  • Build strong trusting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure a high standard of testing is performed

 

What you will bring to the role:

  • Relevant testing experience with manual and automation testing across a range of differing project sizes, scopes and complexities.
  • Experience in UI and API Automation, testing APIs using SoapUI, RedyAPI and Rest Assured
  • Solid understanding of JAVA with OOPs Concepts.
  • Experience must include Selenium Web Driver with BDD framework such as Cucumber/ Concordian/ JBehave.
  • Knowledge of testing framework like Junit and TestNG.
  • An understanding of cloud based software and web services.
  • A good understanding and experience in testing IBM API Connect 
  • Knowledge of tools like SQL, Gradle, Maven, Git, Bitbucket, SVN.
