Senior HR Advisor - Fixed Term

 

  • Opportunity to join the lead government agency for the social sector
  • Be part of an experienced, multi-disciplinary Regional HR team, based in Ellerslie
  • Fixed term until 30 June 2020 - available immediately

 

About the role

 

We are looking for experienced generalist Senior HR Advisor to play a critical role in supporting and building the capability of our managers. You will be providing informed and value-added HR and employment advice and guidance covering a range of people issues. This opportunity will suit you if you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, where you have the opportunity to shape the way we work, and no two days are ever the same.

 

The role is based in our Ellerslie office working alongside our regional HR team. In this role you will be supporting the Northland and Waikato region and some travel within this region will be required. This is a fixed term / fulltime position available immediately until 30 June 2020.

 

Skills and experience

 

We are looking for an HR professional with planning, change management and employment relations experience. You will be skilled at building strong relationships, coupled with the ability to identify pragmatic and relevant solutions to a variety of people issues. To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

 

  • a high level of experience delivering operational human resource services effectively and efficiently, in a challenging environment within a large organisation.
  • a proven ability to quickly develop, foster and maintain excellent working partnerships with stakeholders and management at all levels
  • A genuine passion for coaching and building managers capability.
