Permanent, Full Time (37.55 hours per week)

About the role


The Employment Support Representative (ESR) role is a phone-based position that works to match Job Seekers from our Work and Income database to employment opportunities provided to us by NZ Employers from a range of industries. The focus of this role is to help our clients be work ready. This varied and interesting role ranges from engaging directly with employers, through to managing referrals from work brokers. The matching process involves screening, recruiting, and shortlisting candidates with the aim of employers hiring them. You will update employers and candidates throughout the process and providing additional support services such as administering subsidies and Immigration New Zealand skills-match reports. You will also work directly with job seekers to encourage them to take up training, work readiness and employment opportunities to help them maximise their potential.


As an ESR you will work 37 hours and 55 minutes per week, Monday to Friday. You will be rostered to work shifts, usually between 8am and 6pm.
