Customer Service Representatives, Contact Centre based in Lower Hutt


We are seeking motivated individuals, with excellent communication skills to provide a high level of customer service to Work and Income clients over the phone.


As a Customer Service Representative in our Wellington Contact Centre (Lower Hutt), you will quickly build rapport with a diverse range of people including those in vulnerable situations who need urgent assistant.  You will respond to clients' requests for information and support in line with legislation and policy.


To do well in this role you must have:

  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent decision making and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent time management


You must be able to work full time rostered shifts with varying times within the below days and timeframes:

  • Monday to Friday 6:55am to 10:00pm and;
  • Saturday 7:55am to 6:00pm

23/09/2019 – 27/09/2019: Interviews

29/10/2019 – Start date for position


You also must be available for the entire training period which covers 29/10/2019 to 28/02/2020 (excluding the usual Christmas / New Year holidays)
