About Us

Corporate and Shared Services (CSS) is a business unit of the Treasury. We provide corporate services to the three central agencies: the Treasury, SSC and the DPMC.

The Information Management team is responsible for the delivery of proactive and reactive information operations and services. We manage the central agencies information management systems such as document management, library systems and library collections, provide a research service and we are responsible for the management and design of intranets and websites. Our teams provide information management advice and guidance to customers, technical colleagues and business partners.

About You

You are an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Information Management specialist who enjoys delivering a client-focused service. You will be responsible for leading the work that contributes to the delivery of the Information Management Strategic Roadmap.

While you will provide expert advice on a broad range of information management issues, supporting teams to deliver on our roadmap, our immediate need is in embedding our data management-operating model.

You will lead key pieces of work, working with the Information Management team members to deliver on our roadmap. You will enjoy responsibility and variety, and will have proven yourself as:

  • An experienced information management specialist, who can motivate and lead others through positive leadership. You will be aware of emerging trends in information management, and be willing to share your knowledge.
  • Having a good understanding of Government information strategies and initiatives, the Public Records Act and other legislation relating to information management.
  • Someone who establishes and manages effective relationships with customers and key internal and external stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to how we deliver Information Management in the shared services environment. You will contribute to strategies and long term plans for improving integrated information management capability across the central agencies, and work with the business to build understanding and increase adoption of good information management practice.
