Coordinator Attraction - Fixed-term - Wellington at Fire and Emergency New Zealand, Wellington - Wairarapa

As the Coordinator, Attraction, you'll help bring our attraction campaigns to life and support initiatives that connect people with opportunities at Fire and Emergency NZ.

You'll be the first point of contact for a broad range of enquiries, working closely with colleagues, career staff, volunteer brigades, and external suppliers to prepare recruitment marketing that builds awareness, inspires interest, and encourages people to apply.

 

Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role

You'll provide proactive coordination and administrative support across the team, helping to develop attraction plans, prepare advertising such as posters, flyers, and social media content, manage candidate enquiries, and coordinate the day-to-day activities that keep our work running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing exceptional service, and brings creativity and initiative to everything they do.

 

To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have:

  • Experience in a previous coordination/administration role, involving customer service via email and phone
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint. Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence preparing emails, documentation, and engaging content
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, while maintaining accuracy and quality

  

The salary range for this role is $67,027 – $74,475 (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.

 

This is a fixed-term position commencing ASAP until 24 December 2026.
