We are looking for an Executive Officer to work alongside our Board Chair, Board of Commissioners and Chief Executive to provide professional high quality executive level governance support.   

 

What you will be doing?

  • Liaising with the Board Chair, Chief Executive and Executive Leadership Team to build agendas for Board and Board Sub-Committee meetings.
  • Creating and maintaining an up-to-date board work plan outlining matters to be included on the board's agenda over the course of a year.
  • Developing, planning and managing the forward agenda planning, agendas, schedule of actions and information requests, minutes of meetings, and all information management processes for the organisation's governance meetings.
  • Ensuring quality assurance of all material going to the Board and/or sub-committees and provide feedback to authors/sponsors as necessary to ensure fit for purpose advice is presented.

  • Ability to take correct minutes within a complex and fast environment
  • Good office system and process knowledge
  • Strong organising skills and ability to prioritise work
