We are looking for a fantastic Work Broker to join our dedicated team who work to improve the lives of New Zealanders.  We are focused on connecting our clients with employers to provide job opportunities and career pathways that can make a real difference to their lives and those in the wider community.

 

About the role


As a Work Broker you'll engage with employers and stakeholders to provide a professional service to link our clients with suitable job opportunities.  As the face of the organisation, you use influence and networks to seek out current and future employment opportunities from employers across a range of industry sectors.  You represent clients by marketing their skills to employers with focus on sustainability.  You'll work alongside employers to identify solutions to their current and future labour needs.  You'll work alongside service center staff to provide quality labour market information and promote employment and training opportunities.

There is potential for this role to be based in the community linking with Stakeholders.

 

About you


This role will appeal to a sales oriented person as you will become the voice of your clients by selling their skills to employers. You enjoy business development and engaging with diverse groups of people and communities. Your natural flair for seeking out labour market trends and insights ensures you proactively anticipate impacts and opportunities. You thrive under pressure and enjoy using your tenacity and initiative to find solutions and achieve goals.

 

To succeed in this role you will need to:

  • Have excellent facilitation skills with the ability to engage an audience to influence positive change
  • Work alongside clients and employers from diverse backgrounds
  • Be flexible, solution focused and client-centric
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Enjoy building relationships and making new connections
  • Have a full clean and valid New Zealand driver's licence.
