Job Description

The TEC - Te Amorangi Mātauranga Matua is a small Crown agency with a big job to do – ensuring New Zealanders have the skills and the knowledge they need to ensure lifelong success to build a great country. We lead the Government's relationship with the tertiary education sector in New Zealand and provide career services from education to employment.

We want a great Junior Data Warehouse Developer to join our team.


What will you be doing?

  • Develop  and maintain software and data warehousing applications based on business requirements
  • Identifying and clarifying business requirements and specifications with analysts and end users.
  • Developing a proof of concepts to validate performance, ease of use etc.
  • Provide technical assistance in the identification, evaluation, and development of data warehousing systems and procedure
  • Determine the business metadata definitions for all data services supported in the data warehouse
  • Develop and review coding documentations and other technical specifications
  • Assist various unit and integration test


What can you bring?

  • Knowledge of Data Profiling and Data Quality concepts and techniques
  • Experience in dimensional data modelling
  • Experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Knowledge of SQL,  good understanding of database full life-cycle designing, and application development
  • Experience in ETL engineering
