Children's Team Administrator (Fixed Term June 2020) - Counties Manukau

 

Do you have excellent administration skills and are proficient at creating and developing word, excel and other live documents? This role will require you to use creativity in your administration, whilst working for an organisation that really cares and gives back to the community

In this fixed term position you would be working with a small team in a varied role until 30th June 2020. The Children's Teams support at risk children who do not meet the statutory intervention threshold for care and protection but still require intensive, cross-agency services and support.

 
 
 
About the role

An overview of responsibilities include:

  • Provide high quality administration support
  • Organising meetings and arranging travel
  • Diary management to the Children's Team Support Manager ‎and the team
  • Setup and maintain electronic records
  • Book venues for meetings, workshops and focus groups
  • Building trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support projects and project teams where required
 
 
 
About you
To be successful in your application, you should have:
  • Strong knowledge of administrative processes, systems and technology
  • Advanced level of technical proficiency in the Microsoft office suite of applications
  • Strong work planning and time management skills to meet conflicting deadlines and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels both within the Ministry and with outside agencies and clients.
  • Be able to think and work autonomously to solve issues and challenges independently
  • Applicants must be willing to travel and hold a current drivers licence and be prepared to drive the Ministry's vehicles if required
  • Experience in using case management systems are advantageous
  • Ability to pass on learning to others through one on one or group facilitation
