Job Description

As one of the Teams within our Delivery Directorate, the Projects and Planning team champions our organisational planning culture and delivers exceptional customer service to stakeholders.  The team is focussed on working across the business by providing business planning support to the TEC and supporting investment round and Fees Free management and processes. 

We are looking for a Planning Senior Advisor to join the team to develop, maintain and coordinate the business plan for the Delivery directorate, through consultation with all relevant groups.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Leading the coordination of the Fees Free annual work stream and timeline.
  • Working with the appropriate managers and staff to develop the content and approach required. 
  • Coordinating Fees Free governance as the secretariat.
  • Drafting and coordinating Delivery Directorate reporting as a part of enterprise planning and the corporate accountability process.

What will you bring to the role?

  • A qualification and or relevant experience in a discipline that provides a sound management framework for business planning i.e. business analyst.
  • Highly effective business planning skills and experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Project or similar and Visio to at least intermediate skill level
  • Critical and logical business thinking skills
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
  • A demonstrated continuous improvement philosophy, both from an internal and external customer perspective
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Highly developed written skills in technical business writing
  • Strong coordination and organisation skills
