Change Implementation Manager
  • Great opportunity to support change initiatives across Service Delivery and the wider Ministry of Social Development
  • Apply structured change methodologies to projects and key business initiatives to support change readiness and embedding changes
  • 2 permanent positions, and 1 Secondment/fixed-term position until December 2020, Wellington based



We work together to make a difference for New Zealanders. This is what Service Delivery is all about. We have three key positions for Change Implementation Managers. These roles are vital in leading activities that will both identify change impacts and implementation support requirements for projects and change activities.


Using your change implementation expertise, you'll be responsible for;


  • Creating change implementation approaches
  • Implementing and delivering the change Implementation components necessary to drive successful change including supporting the communication, engagement and training and post implementation activities by developing a structured integrated change an implementation plan.
  • Providing integrated change support to key business initiative's
  • Creating strong relationships to enable the effective planning of implementation.
  • Fixed term position: Will be assigned to a specific project which will also require writing communications materials for both internal and external audiences and work closely with our Client Experience and Design group.


To be successful in these roles you'll need to have a real passion for change and supporting people to understand and accept changes. You'll be supporting anything from a small process changes to large business improvements giving a wide variety of work and engagement with people. Experience managing multiply pieces of work at the same time and working to deadlines is an advantage.
