As a Team Assistant (TA) it is your responsibility to provide exemplary administrative and coordination support to leaders and their teams to keep them running at full speed which allows them to fully focus on producing their outputs in order to achieve the Treasury's desired outcomes. This TA role is situated in the Office of the Executive (OE) & Communications team and provides high level support to the Chief of Staff and shared support to the Team Leader OE and the Manager, Communications & Engagement.

This isn't your everyday team and you're more than your average TA. This is key support role at the core of the Treasury where you will have a front row seat to the inner workings of a central government agency. You're a talented and enthusiastic administrative professional who thrives in a busy and dynamic environment. You adapt quickly to a change and can juggle multiple shifting priorities. You can confidently work closely to support senior leaders and can adapt to a number of different working styles. Our leaders and team will appreciate your initiative, your can-do attitude and your ability to deliver time and time again. This is a forward facing role where you will interact and build relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

The Role

  • Email/diary management and preparing day packs
  • Coordinating meetings and liaising with stakeholders including the Ministers' offices
  • Building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing cover for the EA to the Secretary and be an active member of the support network
  • Maintaining and updating reports, documents and processes
  • Developing and formatting a range of correspondence including Treasury Reports and Aide Memoirs
  • Resource, finance, HR and travel administration

The Team

The work of OE provides support to the Chief Executive and the Executive Leadership Team as well as managing the Treasury's relationship with the Ministers' offices. The Communications team plays an important role to help ensure the Treasury is recognised as trusted, credible and influential.
