Salary Range: $85,829.00 - $87,693.00

The Communications Centres Support Group based at Police National Headquarters are seeking a Business Analyst to join the Policing Development team on a 12 month fixed term contract.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small but dedicated team committed to delivering high quality and effective project products to support the Communications Centres to respond to calls for service.

 

The Comms Policing Development Team has a busy schedule of project work for the Communications Centres, and we are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to assist with our projects. This role will work in a closely with the Communications Centres and reports to our Policing Development Manager.  You will be involved in all aspects of project work from working with key stakeholders to define the business problem/opportunity, requirements gathering, process mapping, through to project planning and delivery.

 

We are seeking a Business Analyst who want to make a real difference and who is committed to producing quality results.

 

 

Skills - you will be able to:

  • Facilitate Workshops with a range of audiences
  • An ability to understanding customer business needs and translating them into project requirements.
  • Confidence working with a wide range of business and technical colleagues to understand requirements, proof of concepts, and to gather input across teams.
  • Demonstrate great stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

 

Experience- you will have:

  • Proven experience in business analysis, and/or identifying areas for operational and process improvement to increase capacity, efficiency and overall effectiveness.
  • Proven experience gathering business requirements across user groups, and providing advice on technical and business solutions.
  • Proven success in analysing complex business challenges and developing options for business process improvements
  • It would be an advantage to have agile experience or training

Additional Information:
