Deputy Chief Financial Officer

We administer member's funding entitlements, provide policy research and information technology services, and manage the building and grounds of the parliamentary precinct. We are seeking a Deputy Chief Financial Officer with outstanding interpersonal communication skills and exceptional customer service ethic to join the Finance Group.

We are looking for someone with a high tolerance for ambiguity, a flexible approach and the ability to manage a large and varied workload. You must have the desire to promote business partnering and excellent customer service.

Naturally you will have expertise in analysis, reporting, planning and resourcing and have a hunger for improving financial and non-financial reporting. You will also have an understanding of appropriations and the annual Treasury finance operating model, and high level skills in using FMIS reporting tools.

The ability to build credibility and rapport with senior stakeholders will put in you in good stead for this position. You will need to have strong technical expertise as well as being resilient in a complex yet stimulating environment.

To be considered for this pivotal role you will need to be CA qualified.
