About the role:
Would you be interested in a busy and varied administration role in an organisation dedicated to helping our communities? Fire and Emergency New Zealand is looking for a motivated, energetic and organised Business Services Coordinator to join our Waitemata District team. You'll be part of a team committed to delivering outstanding administrative support.
Responsibilities include performing a wide range of services such as:
- General office administrative duties
- Responding to public and internal enquiries
- Plan, schedule and manage the administrative arrangements for workshops, meetings and conferences across the district
- Accurately prepare agendas and minutes for meetings, documents reports and presentations for the district
- Accounts payable & receivable
- Incident files and financial management systems are developed pre incident and are compiled at the time of an incident for timely reporting for the District develop and maintain effective relationships with other Business Support Coordinators across the Districts and Regions so as to facilitate the successful completion of projects

- Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Our ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, experience working as part of a team, is motivated, flexible and has a proactive outlook towards improving business processes within an organisation.
