Job Description

The Ministry has one of the largest IT groups in the country, managing strategy, design, development, maintenance, operation and support of IT systems. We have an exciting opportunity for a Middleware Development Support Analyst to join the Ministry's Development Support team. 

 

As a Middleware Development Support Analyst, you will be working in the field of developer infrastructure namely, providing infrastructure, helping with builds/automation and supporting their environments with the use of contemporary SDLC techniques tools and processes.

  

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • You will require technical; troubleshooting and communication skills will support you in providing BAU/Project support.
  • You will be required to manage relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external), attending stand-ups/meetings while ensuring the development environment is delivered.
  • As you will be working on automation, having scripting knowledge, understanding SDLC, documentation and self-learning skills will be key to this role.
  • As this requires you to work across the entire range of IT roles, having a general knowledge of the different functions, technologies like Weblogic, BPM, Scripting and tools like Jenkins, Jira, and Dynatrace is essential.
  • An understanding of DevOPS, Agile and SAFe framework is optional but nice to have.
