Here at Nelson Marlborough Health (NMH) we are looking for an extraordinary PA to proactively support and work alongside our General Manager of Finance, Performance and Facilities, undertake various projects within the Finance, Performance and Facilities service, and provide administrative support to the Engagement Manager for the Nelson Hospital Redevelopment project. This role is based at Nelson Hospital and you will engage daily with our people at every level of the organisation.

We are looking for an experienced and energetic self-starter with confidence, a vibrant personality, fun sense of humour and a passion to make a real difference to enable our communities to live well, stay well and get well. You will bring several years of experience in a similar role ideally within the health sector, or other complex environments.
Your communication skills will be second to none, so too your commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will display confidence in prioritising not only your own workflow and managing your deadlines but in managing the workflow and deadlines for a Senior Executive. You will be working as part of a high performing team and will consistently display confidentiality and discretion.
Key requirements for this position include the following:
- An experienced and positive outlook with a real desire to help people
- Advanced organisational and planning ability
- Strong multi-tasking ability
- Ability to remain calm in high demand situations
- Proven experience of minute taking and diary management
- Ability to exercise appropriate initiative and a proactive approach
- A willingness to be flexible, innovative and undertake other duties as required
- Empathy and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
