Massey University's College of Creative Arts Toi Rauwharangi is searching for an Executive Administrator to work within the Kaihautu Toi Māori Office, Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor and provide high quality and effective Executive Administration.
In this position, you'll work closely with the Kaihautu Toi Māori and others within the Kaihautu Toi Māori Office providing administrative support in day-to-day activities undertaken by members of the Office as well as special projects and initiatives defined by those within the office.
With an excellent reputation for innovative creative arts research and practice, Toi Rauwharangi is New Zealand's oldest and most comprehensive creative arts school. We offer internationally acclaimed degrees in Design, Māori Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Commercial Music and Creative Media Production.

We're looking for a highly organised creative person that has an in depth understanding of Māori culture and Māori creative practice. Naturally, you are caring and are able to demonstrate manaakitanga at all levels.
Your experience/qualifications/capabilities include:
- a tertiary qualification in creative arts
- a level of fluency in Te Reo Māori
- an in-depth understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- a strong sense of manaakitanga
- diary management
- finance accounts management.
- Effective administration skills
- Interested in Māori and Pasifika creative arts development within tertiary education
- Good communicator and facilitator
- Demonstrates an understanding of whanaungatanga and kotahitanga in the workplace
