Employment Support Representatives, Job Connect
We have permanent and fixed term opportunities for Employment Support Representatives in our team to help connect clients to sustainable employment opportunities with employers.

As an Employment Support Representatives (ESR) you will connect employers with our job seekers to provide job opportunities, you will also assist job seekers with preparing for job opportunities.

You will talk to employers and work brokers to find out what key skills are required in a role. This information helps you find suitable job seekers from a database to send to the employer.

About the role
You will work with job seekers to help them take up training, work readiness and employment opportunities. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, connecting employers with our job seekers to provide job opportunities, while the matching process involves screening, recruiting, and shortlisting candidates to vacancies provided to us by NZ employers.
You will also engage directly with clients who call through our 0800 phoneline as well as manage client employment, education and training calls referred in from work brokers and case managers.
You are confident in your ability to have a general conversation about employment and help clients who are seeking more information and help with applying for vacancies.
As an Employment Support Representative you are responsible for following up with stakeholders who are interested in our service. Part of this involves assisting employers, training institutes, and job seekers to navigate our website to find the right information.
Key to success in this role is your ability to build connections, use initiative, adapt to and flex with a changing environment.
This role is varied, fast-paced and energising.
Hours of work
As an ESR you work 37 hours and 55 minutes per week over 5 days Monday to Friday. As business demands and needs change, the occasional Saturday may be required.
You will be rostered to work shifts, usually between 7am and 6pm.
We work on a no surprises basis and will ensure that you will know your scheduled shifts well in advance.
You enjoy learning, adapting to change and building relationships with people over the phone.
No task is too big or too small and you are driven to provide great service.
We are open to people with diverse backgrounds, however experience or interest in recruitment/HR/sales is advantageous.
The starting salary for this role is $53,502.00 per annum.
