We have an opportunity to appoint a vibrant and engaged colleague to contribute to research and teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate Health Science and postgraduate Public Health programmes in the School of Health Sciences, College of Health at Massey University.
This full-time ongoing position is at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, starting 24 January 2023 and will be located on Manawatū (Palmerston North) or Wellington campus. A PhD in Public Health, Health Science, or related discipline is necessary. Experience in teaching in different modes of delivery is advantageous. Candidates who whakapapa Māori or Pacifika are encouraged to apply.
The School of Health Sciences includes staff with expertise across various disciplines from biomedical sciences to public health, including environmental health, health promotion, public health, mental health and addiction, disability and rehabilitation studies, and occupational health and safety.
We are particularly interested in receiving applications from people with experience and expertise in Public Health Policy and Practice, Epidemiology, Māori Health, Systems Thinking, and Social Determinants in Health. Candidates with experience across a number of areas would be advantageous.
