Join our team and use your experience as a senior management accountant to lead reporting and planning to support senior decision-making.

Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to lead reporting and planning.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading end-to-end financial reporting, delivering accurate, timely insights to executives, Board and external stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic decision-making
• Supporting annual budgeting, business planning, and long-term financial strategy development
• Completing strategic financial analysis and providing financial advice

This is a fixed-term role from now until 26 February 2027 

Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you'll bring to the role:

Bring your experience in management accounting and providing high quality insightful financial reporting within a large and complex organisation. You will have excellent communication skills to explain complex information to a wide audience. You will be proactive and organised with the ability to work to a deadline.

To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:

• Have significant experience in consolidated reporting and commentary for senior stakeholders including the Executive Leadership Team, the Board and the Minister
• Be a CA or equivalent qualification
• Have excellent relationship management and confidence working with executive leadership
• Have significant experience in a management accounting, analysis, modelling, analytics and writing in a complex environment.
• Have extensive experience in consolidated budgeting and forecasting

The salary range for this role is Salary range $136,874 - $152,082 (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
