Case Manager, Gore Service Centre

Case Managers play a vital role in our communities. Every day is different, fun and challenging. 

We're seeking a Case Manager based in Gore which is the heart of Eastern Southland.  Gore is the capital of brown trout fishing, country music and services a large rural community.

About you

As part of our team, you will work alongside clients providing support to help improve their lives and connecting them to development and employment opportunities. 

We are looking for someone who is focused on achievement and can practically help others to access job opportunities, training and development, education programmes and work experience because they understand the labour market, employment and career advisory.   

Your welcoming approach and manāakitanga with our people will enable you to know them, understand how to best support them, and work with them to achieve their goals.

You'll bring a high level of personal integrity, initiative, solution focus and relationship management skills to the role. 

You will be well-organised, have good listening skills and an empathic, non-judgmental approach to serving others.

You're comfortable navigating your way around computer systems and enjoy finding solutions to problems.  You will need to assess eligibility and support people accessing income support as part of this role.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Have a passion for changing people's lives for the better
  • Possess the ability to work alongside clients from diverse backgrounds and communities
  • Be flexible, solutions focussed and client centric
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary range: $62,660.00 - $76,585.00
