He angitūtanga - The opportunity
This is a great opportunity to do meaningful work, in EECA's growing and high performing Finance team. As our Financial Accountant, you would be working closely with the Senior Financial Accountant and Manager Finance to produce high quality and timely financial information and advice.
The-day-to-day responsibilities of this role will vary considerably but will include; reconciliation of balance sheets and general ledger accounts, month end processing, supporting our staff with advice, producing tax returns, supporting the annual audit and managing cashflow.

To be successful in this role, you'll be someone who has enjoys helping people, has high attention to detail, great communication skills, and a continuous improvement focus.
You'll also bring:
- a Chartered Accountant qualification (or comparable skills and experience)
- understanding of financial management and accounting
- the ability to build collaborative working relationships
- experience using TechnologyOne (would be an advantage but isn't required).
