The Māori, Communities and Partnerships Group is responsible for building capability across MSD to support the aspirations of the Pacific Prosperity Action Plan, connecting and collaborating to build effective partnerships and community approaches that achieve better outcomes for those who most need our support.

 

Tēnei tūranga - About the role

As a team, will provide high level strategic, technical and analytical leadership for the Pacific and Community Capability Programmes Group and the wider Ministry, to gather and share insights and advice on how to make it easier for Pacific to engage with the Ministry and for the Ministry to become more effective in the delivery of services for Pacific clients, families and communities. We establish and lead Māori Communities and Partnerships programmes of work in relation to Pacific and Community Capability, including the development, implementation and on-going review of strategies and action plans in these areas, such as Pacific Prosperity.

 

He kōrero mōu | About you

To be successful in the role, you will have the following:

  • Demonstrated public sector experience and leadership
  • Proven experience at writing and delivering concise complex information 
  • Extensive client service knowledge
  • Experience working to tight timelines and the ability to prioritise 
  • Excellent ability at building and maintaining effective relationships
  • Great attention to detail with the ability to produce high quality work
  • In-depth Knowledge and experience of Pacific networks and Pacific Community Capability

Salary range: $62,660.00 - $76,585.00
