Job Description

Are you looking for your next challenge? Do you enjoy working in an agile environment and with an experienced team of information professionals? If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you.

We are looking for two enthusiastic, experienced professionals to join the Information Management team based in central Wellington. While the team is responsible for delivering a full range of information services, these two roles are focused on information and data management and would suit practitioners with experience in both areas.

The Senior Advisor role is a fixed term position to the end of September 2018, covering parental leave. Its primary focus will be on the development and implementation of an information asset register and will require liaison across the business with interested business groups and related projects. Project management experience would be a definite advantage. You would also be expected to contribute to the information management work programme and to provide advice and coaching on an as required basis.

The Advisor role is permanent and initially will be focused on delivering operational support to the new SharePoint (Cohesion) platform that provides core content management services across the business. We are looking for a knowledgeable SharePoint content administrator who will be part of the ongoing support and development of the platform, working with experienced senior staff. There will also be the opportunity to work on implementation of the new Disposal Authority and to develop expertise supporting the other knowledge systems that Information Management is responsible for. This is a challenging role that will develop your skills and knowledge, and could provide an opportunity to move into a senior role, where you can influence and make a difference to an organisation.

Both roles will suit individuals who are highly flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to pick up a wide range of work and who are self-starters. We are looking for a practical, problem-solving attitude with good technical skills and strong customer focus.

If you think you've got what it takes please apply online. Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
