You will lead the team to enhance community outcomes through optimised contract management.
You will be responsible for establishing clear benchmarks of quality and ensuring that our partnerships with providers align with our expectations, while simultaneously meeting the expectations of the providers. You will also guide the team in developing a consistent approach towards overseeing the administration and performance of our contracts and grants.
This role is central to our mission of improving community outcomes through efficient and effective contract management. The Manager will play a pivotal role in optimising processes and fostering strong relationships with our providers.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako / Skills and experience
- Extensive experience in contract administration and management within a large organisation.
- Proven experience in senior roles and leading high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex and sensitive issues within partnership arrangements.
- Current understanding of best practices in contract administration and management.
- Strong familiarity with Government and State Sector processes and systems, along with a solid grasp of government direction and policy priorities.
- Ability to apply the Strategies of Te Pae Tata and Pacific Prosperity into the day-to-day operations of MSD.
- Understanding of equity issues, the Treaty of Waitangi, and their implications for the work of MSD.
- Experience or a keen interest in working in partnership with whānau, hapū, and Iwi.
