Job Description

Are you a keen communications specialist with social media and IT smarts and a passion for better public sector engagement?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic advisor to join our small, mostly senior and experienced team. This is a unique opportunity to work across all communications disciplines in the organisation that's leading a period of change in the public service. 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an excellent creative writer, able to adapt easily to different audiences and formats
  • Have at least two years' experience in New Zealand public sector communications
  • Be familiar with writing for and monitoring major social media outlets (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Be experienced in writing, editing and loading content for intranet and internet
  • Have a tertiary qualification in communications or journalism, or equivalent experience
  • Be able to grasp technical concepts and learn quickly
