We're seeking two Senior Advisors to join a small and agile team delivering a diverse work programme across the State Sector.

A start-up team in 2017, the Integrity, Ethics and Standards group is a small and agile team that works flexibly to advise Ministers and senior leaders, connect communities of practice across the State Services, and organises community engagement and events in support of open government.

The Senior Advisor makes an important contribution to the team's successful programme delivery, working collaboratively on what can be intellectually strong pieces of work, contributing to lifting the standards of behaviour, conduct, and integrity capability across the Public Sector, as well as the development of advice and guidance on a broad range of open government and integrity matters.

You'll need to be a can-do self-starter, and a strategic thinker who can work with complicated ideas, in a team that works at pace.

The right person for this role may bring:

  • Experience developing effective strategic policy analysis and advice   
  • A high level of intellectual nous
  • Astute judgment 
  • An ability to challenge and be challenged        
  • Excellent communication skills
