Job Description

  • Work as part of the State Services Commissions's Employment Relations team to  support the strategic direction of employment relations for the public service
  • Develop and deliver timely, sound and value add advice on complex agency or system level employment relations issues
  • This role will suit someone with policy delivery and/or CE office experience and a strong interest in workplace and workforce issues.

The Employment Relations team aims to build an exemplar employment relations environment in the State sector.  The team works within the State Services Commission, and in collaboration with agencies and unions to advance important programmes of change across the State Sector.  We are looking for a new team member. You will have a strong interest in Employment Relations issues and policy, and be looking to deliver in a high profile work area. We are a collaborative team, and our role is varied. One day you may be writing advice to Ministers, the next, presenting to a tripartite working group. More information is in the job description
