We are a small, agile team, with a big mandate and commitment.  We believe that no task is too big, nor is it impossible.   We lead by example.  Working in our team will provide you with a unique twist to your career! We do not only provide a service to the agency (SSC), we also have the opportunity to gain insight and experience into the wider State Sector system.

You will be trusted advisor who can provide support across a broad range of HR matters.  You will also have experience in mentoring and developing other People Team members.

With an exciting agenda of HR projects through 2020, you will have an opportunity to take a leadership role in areas that you're passionate about – whether that be in diversity and inclusion, capability and culture building, or wellbeing frameworks.

  • Sound knowledge of current HR principles and best practice in at least three of the following:  organisational development, employment relations, change management, professional learning and development, recruitment and selection.

We are looking for a smart, diplomatic person who is a quiet influencer, and can pivot between the strategic and the tactical.  With your unique skills, your curiosity and drive for excellent customer service, you will help us implement our strategic HR and corporate work programme and our Kawa (our way of working). We will help you flourish and grow.
