Senior Advisor Learning Management System (LMS) at Te Kawa Mataaho | Public Service Commission, Flexible Location

The Public Service Fale, which sits within Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission, is a regional centre of excellence that operates to support sixteen Public Service Commissioners in the Pacific to achieve their goals to strengthen public services for their citizens.

The Public Service Fale is looking for a Learning Management System (LMS) specialist who can hit the ground running and own the management and maintenance of their Totara LMS, FaleOnline. FaleOnline provides Public Service Commissions in 16 Pacific countries, and their wider public service agencies, with tools, resources, information and learning to support them in the delivery of effective public services.

You will be responsible for working with the Fale team and our partners in the Pacific to ensure FaleOnline is a relevant and useful tool that provides a positive user experience. You'll also utilise your learning design skills to take existing content and develop it into engaging learning solutions. A key piece of work you'll own is building tenancies for countries who want to use FaleOnline as their organisation's LMS so their people can easily access their specific learning, and completion can be reported on.

You will apply your technical expertise in LMS and learning design, and draw on your attitude for continuous improvement to provide excellent customer service, solve system issues, and develop FaleOnline into a platform where users can share, learn and connect. This position usually pays between $99,200 to $116,700 depending on skills and experience.

You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this job. We are open to receive applications if you're based outside of the Wellington region, but to stay connected with the team it is expected you will work from our Wellington office at least once a month and attend all-team events. Travel expenses will be covered by yourself. 

This position is a 12 Month fixed term or a secondment, this position requires an understanding of the public service.
