Do you have the commercial acumen and technical understanding of infrastructure to ensure the delivery of multi-million dollar services?

What you will do

This position has a key on-site role in managing the delivery of facilities management services to Linton Military camp.  This is a critical role requiring commercial acumen and technical understanding of infrastructure to ensure the delivery of multi-million dollar services that support NZDF outputs.  The role is responsible for liaising between the base or camp command and the service provider(s) to ensure that delivery is in accordance with the facilities contract requirements and meets the needs of the tenant(s).

What we need

You will have 5 years + experience working in the facilities, property management, or related field.  You will have demonstrated experience in managing operations or site management or similar.

A relevant trade qualification supplemented with considerable industry experience and short professional courses in Project/FM Contract management is ideal as well as a holder of a Site Safe Supervisors Certificate (Gold Card).

You will possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills, proven ability to work independently using sound judgement and initiative, have the accuracy and attention to detail required and be self-motivated.

Low level Security Clearance

  • most preferably a NZ citizen, who has resided in this country continuously for at least the last five years, OR
  • is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last five years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA); and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.

 If you do not meet these minimum criteria, we will not be able to accept your application.
