About the team:
As a business unit within Te Kawa Mataaho, Public Service Commission, Ara Kaiarahitanga | Leadership Development Centre (LDC) is the primary delivery vehicle for system-wide leadership development. The LDC is focused on developing consistent learning experiences across the public service to build strong leadership capabilities and encourage shared mindsets in our leaders. The focus of the LDC is currently broadening to also include the knowledge and skills that are unique to being a public servant. This role sits within the LDC group and supports this new focus.
Advisor, Capability
We are looking for a learning Advisor to join our new team for a 6 to 12 Month Secondment. In this role you will support the curation and creation of digital and face to face learning experiences that are highly engaging and fit-for-purpose. You'll engage with key stakeholders, including subject matter experts and system leads, as well as co-ordinate the delivery of learning activities. We love learning and we are looking for a likeminded person to come and be a part of our team.
Do you have?
- Experience with learning and development
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Project and self-management skills to work on multiple projects and still meet deadlines.
- Expertise dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Digital skills and knowledge of IT systems and applications, especially MS Office.
- Knowledge of tikanga Māori, te ao Māori and te reo and understand the implications of te Tiriti on today's society and public service.
