About the role

As a Senior Advisor BA working within the Digital Services team, you will enable the Commission to maximise the value of our Digital Platform (Dynamics 365 CRM) by providing high-quality analysis, expert advice, and practical solutions that drive business improvement and engagement across the public sector.

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about business analysis and digital transformation in the public sector
  • Committed to building strong relationships and engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-driven, takes initiative, and thrives when working autonomously
  • Experienced in vendor management and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for digital platforms
  • Leading business analysis for projects and ongoing enhancements to the Digital Platform
  • Identifying opportunities for the Digital Platform and managing its roadmap
  • Managing vendor relationships, licence administration and procurement, and system improvements
  • Providing onboarding, training, and ongoing support to users across the organisation
  • Acting as the trusted advisor for business engagement, process improvement, and technical support
  • Delivering comprehensive business and technical support
  • Effective stakeholder engagement

Key responsibilities include:

To be successful in this role, you will be highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into effective digital solutions. This role will give you a unique insight into public sector transformation, cross-agency collaboration, and the opportunity to make a real impact for New Zealanders.

This position sits within the Enabling Services group which supports the Commission to deliver and perform at its best. The group provides a range of corporate services including information technology, human resources, finance, property, planning and reporting, risk, and assurance.

Salary

The full salary range for the band is $107,146 to $143,313.  We typically look to appoint to role between $107,146 to 130,507, depending on skills and experience.
