About the role
The Leadership Development Centre (LDC) is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Advisor to join our Programmes team for a fixed-term period through to the end of June 2028.
In this role, you'll help shape, deliver, and continuously improve high-impact leadership development experiences that build capability across the Public Service. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues, agencies, and external partners to design, curate, and refresh programmes that support leaders to thrive in an evolving system.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver leadership development experiences that build system-wide capability.
- Curate, refresh, and improve existing programmes, products, and services to ensure they remain relevant, high quality, and fit for purpose.
- Collaborate with agencies, colleagues, and partners to create learning experiences that reflect good practice and respond to sector needs.
- Maintain strong networks and use insights from across the Public Service to understand current and emerging leadership development needs.
You'll bring:
- Strong experience in learning design, ideally with a focus on leadership development.
- A system-wide perspective, sound judgement, and a collaborative way of working.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing senior leaders in the Public Service.
- Confidence managing work across multiple priorities, with a focus on quality delivery and continuous improvement.

Remuneration
The full salary range for the band is $108,003 to $144,460. We typically look to appoint to role between $108,003 to $131,551, depending on skills and experience.
