About the role | Mō te tūnga:

Permanent full time opportunity 

Put your legal skills and experience to work, helping New Zealanders to be safe, strong, and independent.

We are looking for a highly professional and Legal Executive to join our supportive and collaborative team, delivering high-quality legal services to the Ministry of Social Development. In this role, you will support Residential Care Loan processing and work closely with both internal clients and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient administration of the Residential Care Loan system. Your strong relationship-building abilities and keen attention to detail will be key to your success.

You will join an inclusive and fun environment where we celebrate achievements and prioritise development. Support to obtain Legal Executive qualifications may be available. Our team values diversity and may be able to accommodate some flexibility in working arrangements.

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:

To be successful, you will be/have:

  • Curious, analytical and have an eye for detail
  • Experience in Residential Care Loan processing or have a Property Law background
  • Enjoy working collaboratively 
  • Have excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience in Ministry systems would be an advantage

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $69,519.00 - $84,041.00
