Job Description

Ngā mōhiohio e pā hānga ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

Your role will be as a member of the Business Integrity unit within the Finance, Performance and Facilities service and is responsible for assisting the Manager, Business Integrity to develop and enhance Nelson Marlborough Health's (NMH's) risk framework including the integration of risk management into the day-to-day activities of all managers to create a culture of risk-based decision-making. You will work closely with NMH managers to help them identify, understand and assess their risks, and advise on appropriate and effective controls. You will also contribute more broadly to the business continuity and emergency management programmes in order to enhance organisational resilience.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 40 hours a fortnight.

You will have a background and experience in a risk management field. You will be comfortable delivering risk management services in a large and complex organisation. You will possess the ability to analyse complex issues, provide solutions and communicate these clearly to a range of stakeholders. Previous health sector experience and some exposure to delivering emergency management or business continuity programmes would be desirable; though it will be your drive, enthusiasm and interpersonal skills that will ultimately set you up for success.
