Job Description

  • Cloud technologies - Azure, OpenShift
  • Spring Data, OAuth, API Security
  • JavaScript, Sass, CSS, React, API, Azure DevOps, Jenkins CI/CD, REST and OpenAPI/Swagger
  • Fixed-term until 30 June 2021, Wellington based

As a Front-End Senior Developer you will work closely with our Digital team to develop approaches to ensure ACC's internal systems deliver seamless service to the business.

ACC's vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury.

This role will develop Technology solutions to deliver integration of complex systems which may include inter government agency data exchange. As a technology evangelist you will support the development of our future-state to ensure it can achieve and allows for any shifting technology trends, enhanced stability, speed and agility within the business. You live and breathe full-stack development, design and development.

Key responsibilities of the role and what you need to be successful:

  • Experience with Jenkins/Azure DevOps
  • Experience with web development technologies including HTML, Sass, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with server-side technologies including Java, Spring Boot and Maven is a bonus
  • Strong unit testing and object-oriented analysis and design skills
  • Have a strong problem-solving ability
  • Experience in cloud technologies like Azure and OpenShift
  • Hands on experience with Spring Data, OAuth and API Security
