Salary Range: $104,300-$141,000



About the role

We are looking for two experienced Principal Advisers to join our expanding Policyteam.  Reporting to the Manager Policy you will draw on your public policy experience to advise Ministers on exciting reforms in New Zealand's arts and media sectors.


You will need to demonstrate:

  • Strategic leadership in shaping and delivering policy advice in the public or cultural sector
  • Effective stakeholder relationship management with other government agencies, iwi/ Māori, cultural groups, local government, research and academic institutions, other key stakeholders and the public
  • Analytical capability and policy practice
  • Ability to collaborate with relevant government agencies and ministers
