About the role

We are looking for a Policy Adviser to join our expanding Policyteam.  Reporting to the Manager, Policy (Heritage) you will draw on your public policy experience to advise Ministers on exciting reforms in New Zealand's heritage sector.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Relevant experience in policy analysis in the public or cultural sector
  • Well-developed analytical and research skills
  • A good working knowledge and understanding of the policy sector  
  • A relevant post graduate qualification.
  • Experience working with iwi and Māori stakeholders in a public policy environment would be desirable.

Salary Ranges

The range for a Policy Adviser position is $68,547 (85%) - $88,707 (110%)
