Are you an experienced adviser with a passion for leveraging education opportunities for all learners? Do you enjoy new challenges and working with diverse groups to achieve shared outcomes?

We're looking for an Education Adviser to be part of New Zealand's support for quality education for people in the Pacific region and beyond. The Education Adviser is part of an advisory team in Wellington that provides advice and technical support for education investments.

You need excellent written and oral communication, analysis, problem-solving and negotiation skills and enjoy working with teams. Programme management and experience in design and monitoring of education activities would advantageous.

To be effective in this role you need policy or operational advisory experience, and in-depth understanding of education systems and expertise in areas relevant or applicable to developing country contexts.  Work experience in the Pacific region would be advantage.
