Job Description

Our highly engaged Cybersecurity team operate at the heart of New Zealand's democracy and support the security of information systems in the Parliamentary Precinct and out-of-Parliament offices. Our team are responsible for keeping abreast of the latest cyber threats, hunting for them in the network, and protecting the network from harm, while ensuring our diverse user base continues to receive a world-class, highly-mobile digital working environment.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop processes for, and deliver reporting on security events and requests
  • Work with the analysts to triage incoming work and monitor progress
  • Coordinate logistics for education campaigns and events
  • Grow efficient and effective workflows in the team
  • Engage with external service providers to monitor delivery of security projects

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in a coordination or administration role in any field
  • A professional approach, a good attitude, and great relationship-building skills
  • A keen interest in developing skills in cybersecurity, and a willingness to take on training and development opportunities to help you get there
  • A cool head under pressure or in a complex situation
